When do I check-in?
Check in time is 4P (You may check in early if the villa was not occupied the week prior. To inquire, please contact the sales office at 843.785.8388, opt. 1).

When do I check-out?
Check out time is 10A (You may check out later if the villa is not to be occupied after your departure. To inquire, please contact the sales office at 843.785.8388, opt. 1).

Are linens and towels provided?
Villas are furnished with bedding and bath towels. The sofa beds in each unit are not equipped with linens. Therefore, if planning to utilize the sofa bed, you will need to bring your own bedding and extra bath towels.

What supplies will be in the villa upon arrival?
Each villa is equipped with kitchenware and supplies for everyday cooking and a starter supply of paper towels, soap, tissues and toilet paper.

Is there a charge for extra keys?
You will be provided with two keys to your rental property. A re-key charge will be collected for lost or unreturned keys.

What about a maid service?
Villas are cleaned before your arrival and after your departure.

Are security deposits required?
A security deposit is required for the villas. In lieu of a cash deposit, an accepted credit card is acceptable. Guest acknowledges owner’s, Van Der Meer TennisUniversity, Inc., authority to charge their credit card for damages to villa rented by guest and/or their family and/or guest(s).

Is there an internet connection?
Yes, we do have a secure wireless internet connection in our villas. The security passcode and network information will be provided at check-in. If you have problems connecting to our network, please contact the sales office at 843.785.8388, opt. 1.

Are pets permitted?
We love animals, however, pets are NOT permitted in our properties.

Is smoking permitted?
Smoking is NOT permitted in our properties.

Do I receive complimentary court time with my rental?
Yes, you'll receive one hour of free court time each day. If you’re staying at Courtside 36, your free hour is at Van Der Meer Tennis Center. To book, dial 843.785.8388, opt. 2. If you’re staying at The Greens 147, your free hour is at Van Der Meer Shipyard Racquet Club. To book, dial 843.686.8804.

Who is responsible for damage to the rental property?
You agree to indemnify the owner, Van Der Meer TennisUniversity, Inc., for any damages to the rental property, including damages to furnishings and household items, which are a result of your occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear. Owner will not be liable for any damages to property nor liable for any accident that may occur during your occupancy of the property or grounds. Owner may enter property at a reasonable time for the purpose of making repairs. Owner is not responsible for articles left on the property or its grounds.
