Sweet Briar Junior Camps
 This exciting tennis camp has been a choice for over 30 years. Sweet Briar College is uniquely set in the eastern foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The 3,300 acre campus features 14 hard courts (4 lit), a large gym, and an indoor pool.

Our Sweet Briar camps accept commuting juniors from age 8. Room and boarding packages are available for players (age 10-21). Students are housed on-site, in air-conditioned dorm rooms, and meals are provided in the campus dining facility.
For sectional, national, international, or collegiate ranked players, we offer a special Summer Circuit Training Program. Camp daily tennis instruction includes but is not limited to:

  • 5-6 Hours per day of Instruction
  • Stroke and Video Analysis
  • Tactical Drill Sessions
  • Skill Development
  • Supervised Match Play
  • Fitness Conditioning
  • Mental Toughness Training
  • Goal Setting

All Van Der Meer Junior Camps are comprehensive and feature the following:

  • All coaches are certified PTR Professionals
  • 24 hour adult supervision
  • Planned off-court activities and entertainment
  • Various programs to suit every junior from beginner to advanced player
