Van Der Meer Tennis Center is pleased to announce it will host a joint junior and adult tournament August 27th—29th, 2010. This tournament is non-sanctioned and divisions will include Men's and Women's NTRP levels 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0, and will feature Open Divisions with $500 to the Singles winners. Junior Divisions will include Boys and Girls 10s, 12s, and 14s (highly-ranked juniors are encouraged to play in the Open Divisions). Draws will be limited to 32 entries in Singles and 16 teams in Doubles (draws are expected to fill and entries will be taken in the order which they are received).

Matches will be played on the hard courts of VDM Tennis Center with play beginning on the afternoon of Friday, August 27th. Regular scoring will be used and match tie breaks will be played in lieu of a 3rd set for all matches. A First Match Losers Consolation will be held in Singles. Prizes will be awarded to the Champion, Runner-Up, and Consolation Champions in each division*.

*Cash prize of $500 to the OPEN Singles Champion (dependant on full draw)

Entry fee will be $30 for Singles and $50 per team for Doubles. Entries will be accepted at VDM Tennis Center Pro Shop or by e-mailing justynschelver@hotmail.com.
